Villain Plan Generator

Generate a villain with motivations, schemes, and weaknesses for your story.

Generates a villain with six parts: villain type, core motivation, current scheme, key resource, a secret weakness, and a memorable trait. Each field has 20 options, for 64 million possible villains. Types include corrupt high priests, undead liches, and deposed monarchs, with motivations that explain rather than excuse, such as betrayal by those they trusted. The weakness field builds in the route to defeating them, from a hidden phylactery to arrogance that blinds them, and the trait field makes them recognisable at the table, like never raising their voice even when furious. Useful for D&D campaign villains, antagonists in fantasy fiction, and one-shot adversaries who need to land in a single session.
