Each field has 20 options, which works out to 64 million possible combinations. Origins range from a remote farming village to the streets of a large city to a noble family with expectations attached, and the secret field includes entries like being responsible for the very thing the character claims to oppose, or living under a stolen identity. The fields are system-neutral, so the results fit D&D characters, other tabletop RPGs, and fiction protagonists. It works best as a starting point you edit: each line is a deliberate prompt for a decision about who the character is, not filler to delete.
