Generate a fantasy frontier settlement with a name, a purpose, and the lifeline that keeps it alive.
Generate a fantasy frontier settlement with a composed name, a reason to exist, and the lifeline that keeps it alive. The generator builds places like Ironwatch or Bittercreek from 20 name prefixes and 20 suffixes, then fills seven detail fields: Why It Exists (a quarantine camp that never disbanded, a charter signed by a kingdom that no longer exists), What Keeps It Alive, The Shape of the Place, Distance From Anywhere, First Impression, and What It Lacks. Every result is a working settlement with a built-in weakness, and that weakness is usually where the story starts. Use it to open a campaign, seed a hexcrawl stop, or ground a novel chapter. It anchors the Fantasy Frontier pack, and the settlement's name carries into the pack's later generators.
This generator creates: Settlement Name, Why It Exists, What Keeps It Alive, The Shape of the Place, Distance From Anywhere, First Impression, What It Lacks.
